MBJH Peer Helper Duties
- Help 7th graders during Spartan Day.
- Sponsor New Student Breakfast at the beginning of the school year for students who are new to the Junior High.
- Assist with transitioning upcoming 7th-grade students by conducting tours and helping with summer registration.
- Attend a special "buddy" meeting once a week that involves tutoring, or working with special needs students in a social setting and being a lunchroom buddy that day.
- Promote being drug/alcohol/tobacco-free all year.
- Act as a “buddy” to new students that enroll during the school year.
- Attend events such as Special Olympics, and Valentine’s Dance with special needs students.
- Attend Open House and assist with helping parents with orientation to the school.
- New jobs or opportunities as they arise.
